We all need to go out and find ourselves over and over again throughout the stages of our lives.

Sometimes I wish I could take all of my emotions, put them in a box, and place it on a self. Then I could select which emotion was most appropriate or most useful each day and take that one with me. Sometimes I wish that kind of self control wasn’t something I had to wish for.

2012-2013 FSHS Madrigal :)

Monday: received the news that I made a 26 overall on the ACT
Wednesday: was inducted into the National Honors Society
Thursday: made Madrigals (school chorale group)
Friday: spending the entire day with my best friend
Saturday: spending another day with my best friend!

I’ve spent this weekend in the company of good friends. Lots of singing, laughing, and enjoying each other. I stayed up way too late, ate ice cream and s’mores until I was about to burst, played music into the late hours of the night, rode a motorcycle, broke curfew, and had many meaningful conversations about love, happiness, faith, adventures, and youthfulness. I’m so thankful for my friends and the abundant lives God allows us to live and share!
